Late in the day on day two I reached the end of the journey and waited for just one more image of the south rim. I relaxed for an hour or so and set up my equipment in anticipation. Just as the sun dropped below the horizon behind me, a natural phenomena of stretched light passing through the atmosphere changed the color of light and as it struck the south rim, I captured this image.

Visit my blog to read my review of metal prints. Museum quality canvas is likewise archival. Of course, as with all art, diffuse sunlight is best. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight for any length of time as it may cause fading.
